A black cockatoo is worth alot of money these days...Beautiful birds they are...I`ve never seen one in the wild...
Mandy, These are huge birds and are not numerous. They stand between 65 and 68 cm. I only see them once a year. Their ages could be around the hundred year mark as the white cockatoos and galahas are known to have lived to that age in captivity.
A great sight to see them in the trees, pruning!!!
