ONE DAY OF THE YEAR VISITORS

These huge parrots visit once a year. All they seem to do is prune up the casurinas......The huge beaks cut through the limbs and they plummet to the ground the limbs that is. The glossy blacks also visit and they eat the nuts from these same trees.

Hi Lizzie
There are a lot of people that can not see the beauty in our country, it there when you look at these photos.Australians need to get out of the city's and see it, most spend to much time in plains flying over it. when i was a kid it took 3 hours to get from Moss Vale to Sydney a long the old Hume highway and Campbelltown was a large country town. but travelling in cars showed you what Australia looked like.
I love to ride a long the country roads of this country and the always have in my mind that early morning smell of the dew on the dry Aussie grass. I really do not get out of the city enough any more and need to try to.
Regards
Stephen

Stephen you are so right...the smell is what I remember most. I took the geologist up to my country last week as there are no roads.. they wished to take samples. I do not like the idea of the miners moving in anyway can not do anything about it so may as well be the guide
Cheers Lizzie B.
