Autumn is so beautiful....I remember as a kid my dad would take us into the parks in Adelaide and we would collect all the different coloured leaves....
You have certainly put me down a trip in memory lane...Thankyou....

Hi Elizabeth,

Yes our liquid amber has just about lost all of its leaves now. In a couple of days I'm going to have to remove the leaves because whilst they look beautiful strewn all around the yard, the konkers (I think that's what people call them) hidden under the fallen leaves have already caused me to twist my ankle on one occasion already.

Cheers

Rudy

Mandy,
I grew up in the tropics and find all the temperate trees, grains etc. the flora I have discovered in the second half of my life quite amazing. Great to have those memories of your Dad. Kind Regards, Elizabeth

Rudy,
I am going to look for some konkers? If I do not have any you will have to explain. When I first came out of the bush and attended a school with other children I sure knew what a "konker" meant...a knuckle hit in the head. Little horrors.
Cheers
Elizabeth
