ANDURAMBA

ANDURAMBA, originally uploaded by cnlizziebns.

Early morning with the low clouds looking like an inland sea. The worm of smoke in the background is from coal fired Tarong Power Station which generates electricity for South East Queensland.

Evening Mandy,
Have just finished a long stint of split and all over the place shifts and am trying to allow my body to catch up. I am keeping well thank you and have had a little rain here and there and clover is peeping up ...have not seen clover for a couple of seasons. The grass where not protected is golden from the frosts. I think SA has missed out all around...you have had a very torrid year with the weather. I will catch up with you all later in the week. I enjoy catching up with you all as regard you as friendly non judgmental neighbours. Am setting off tonight after a sleep to pick up one of my grandsons while my son is working this week...he has the remainder of the week off. He fought long and hard to have access to his son and this is the first holiday he will enjoy with him. Only had him for a weekend or long weekend in the past.
Cheers Elizabeth
Kind regards,
Elizabeth

Kind regards,

Thank you for the compliment...was a beautiful sight with the dawn breaking....you can discern the smoke from the stacks at Tarong on the horizon and you can see a break in the ranges to the left of the photograph where the huge powerlines cut through the Yarraman pine forests and carries the power to Brisbane, gold Coast etc.

Finally found you Elizabeth!

And everyone else!

Gorgeous photos, as always. You're definately missed at Bigpond, but you're not missing much (Telstra haven't changed).

I'm putting this URL in Favourites now, so I don't lose it again...

Cheers,

Cindy

Cindy,
I really missed reading and viewing your journey and take on the north with fresh eyes. You have the ability to bring what you experience to reality and I so enjoyed retracing my footsteps through your eyes.
Cheers,
Elizabeth
