Hi Elizabeth,

Your grandson is so lucky to live in a world where he can ride his "hoss".

We have quite a few horses go by our house -school holidays does have a positive. Im really thinking a lot about riding again.

I keep suggesting to the husband that we sell up the homestead in Perth and buy an acreage aross the road here. I want a horse, with a goat for compnay. Jez says he wants an Essex piglet.

I wrote a terribly long comment on your last post, sorry to ramble on so! It's just that your blog is so damn inspiring!

Warm regards,

Cindy

Cindy,
Thank you for the compliment. I was invited to a workshop/lecture with Steve Parish some weeks ago which I attended and enjoyed myself very much. An exposition of imagery and the accessories was held in Brisbane and I believe because I was trialling Apenture 2 was asked along. I actually found the professional presenters more informative but enjoyed the perspective of Steve Parish who makes a good living I believe from his photography...he must do as informed the participants that he had had four wives...imagine the alimony.....!!!!Every time he made a mistake he said "Aw shit"...I got the giggles and was seated beside some camera toting Europeans who frowned at me (several times).
Unfortunately did not have the time to attend the portrait workshop as I am hopeless at portrait photography and am hungry to learn a little of the technique. Lots of guys there at the portrait workshop...you guessed it a partially clad beautiful model was the subject...standing room only ha ha ..boys....
Kind regards,
Elizabeth

Thank you Lizzy for the information about Flikr. I have wandered around the site a few times looking at yours and Cindy's photos. I say to myself ...one day I'll investigate the site closer.I'm a bit hesitant to get bogged down in too many sites. I use Picasa in a similar way. I also have Paintshop Pro which is a simpler form of photo shop. Golly one can spend so much time playing on computers.
I like horses but not keen on riding....my story is on Cindy's comments.
How lucky to learn from Steve parish. I love his Photography.
