Gorgeous aren't they. We have one just like it sitting in the paddock getting fat and doing nothing because there is no one to ride him.

The pony is a delight and to save confusion have renamed her Lil Lilly...a little difficult for a three year old to talk of his Grandmother Lizzie and his pony Lil Lizzie!!
I have only just broken the pony in and she is so willing and kind. I have been quite involved with looking after a three year old and juggling work and the commencement of the training of two of my horses...thank goodness I did not try for more than two in work at once or would be in a bigger mess than I am at the present. ow ow ow
Kind regards, Elizabeth

Mandy,
Joe has gone and I do miss looking after him and it was so easy as took him for long rides on the pony through the bush which he loved...he would then eat and sleep....and talk about his pony and when not on her...she did get sore feet... he would gallop around on a stick for a horse and show everyone his new horse seat, saddle!!. I have also been looking after five teenage and pre-teenage girls teaching them to ride..will post photographs later...Cheers
and oh yes on the weekends when the cooks are not working at the nursing home I do cater for about fifty residents for a light tea and set all those girls to work whilst I swanned about collecting double time and they loved it...I do split shifts on the weekend do the nursing in the morning and then to hospitality in the afternoon...I enjoy the multi skilling and can appreciate when doing the nursing why the cooks get cranky ha ha After injuring myself had to let my business go and retrain and the work with the elderly gives me the greatest sense of achievement. I did not think I could do it but surprised myself. Here I go again the ole agnostic but is good for the soul and sole (shoe...pay for that is)....Cheers again Elizabeth
