AGAINST THE STORM

Was sitting in a small country town on the footpath enjoying a cup of coffee and noticed this young man walking up and down the fence. I might add walking on top of the fence. I spoke to him and asked could I take his photograph and he was happy for me to do so.

You certainly have an eye for interesting shots. We have had rain for our gardens after some time of the sun frying everything to a crisp. Hope you did too.

Teenage boys are LOATHE to have their photos taken - it's always a battle with Jez to be a camera subject!

Great shots, am really liking that angle.

I'm wistfully longing for that sort of agility and fearlessness again.....

Yes Diane...was fried to a crisp and overnight turned emerald...

Yevisha,
Yes and was uplifting seeing a teenage boy doing something skilful and simple...leave the computers to us baby boomers, huh

Mandy,
Ditto to that...I was a little envious

Cindy,
I was having lunch with my grand niece visiting from Innisfail and she told me to ask him and guaranteed he would be happy about it and he was and a little embarrassed. A different story when I want to take photographs of my sons to this day...Ah Mum...

Kind regards,
