What a gorgeous bird!
Yes they are...have about fifty of them visit each day and they are so full of personality noise and color....
I am privileged...
So very pretty. I saw my first Robin Redbreast yesterday in years.
Margaret these little fellows make me laugh....they are like "bodgies" in amongst the oh so polite galahas, kings and rosellas who are so restrained and these gaudy little fellows rule
Hey I am supposed to be the insomniac...
and I have never seen a Robin Redbreast....
You do have quite a noise with the birds up your way. The white and black galahs fly over our house some evenings, they don't stop of course :)
I always stay up late, always have done and when I go to bed, I sleep like a log. I consider myself lucky in that respect.
The Robin Redbreast is a small bird, I did take a photo of it from a distance and shall post it to my blog over the weekend.
His colours are so vibrant. You are lucky to have so many around but they can get a bit noisy. I have them when the trees are in bloom but they don't come close.Great shot.
Thank you Diane...I actually did not take the shot a woman who was caring for my mother while I was still at work borrowed my camera and shot the rowdy mob. She was envious of the closeness of the parrots. I told until I can afford a super lens for wildlife photography I have to bribe, sn eak up on the animals to get a closeup
