Girraween Two

Rock formations everywhere

Wildflowers everywhere

The rock I did not climb but next time.

Strange creatures in the logs....

On the back roads back on to agricultural land and could see the threatening storm cells which did eventuate so was no climbing the pyramid that day.

Beautiful shots. I have always wanted to climb the rock but there has always been a reason to stop me (most likely BB who can't walk far these days)

My word you have been all over the place. Most of those places I have been. Mt. Morgan, oh it's sweet and hilly.
Beautiful photos all of them. The logs - well I can see creatures in them.

Diane,

I have yet to climb the rock. The intention was to climb late in the afternoon and take camera equipment including tripod and take photographs in the moonlight and stay the night at the camping grounds. The storms rolled in and thought it may be a better idea to wait for more clement weather as the granite gets quite slippery when wet and a long fall to the bottom.

I do hope I get the opportunity to try again at a later date.

Thank you again for your always kind comments and I do enjoy your adventures.

Cheers,

lizzie b

Margaret,

I would like to revisit Mt. Morgan without the horsefloat and horses as could see lots to photograph. Passed through in the early morning sun and thought it such an unusual old fashioned place, somewhere that time forgot. I am fanciful as you may have gathered at times.

I hope you have been keeping well and thank you for keeping in touch with your comments.

Cheers,

lizzie b
