After The Floods

Here in South East Queensland, in the mountains we experienced flash flooding with walls of water rushing down the narrow mountain streams to the valley floor taking homes and lives with it.

I have many images of the devastation but will not add them at this time.

After the floods the creeks have taken on a new dimension are quite beautiful and weed free beautiful fog shrouded pools of clean water greet me as I walk the waterways.

Today will spend a little time contemplating the disaster in our sister country New Zealand with the earthquake of yesterday the devastation and the loss of life and my heart goes out to those in the Land of the Long White Cloud.

Wonderful to have you back :)
Thanks for your kinds words :) I wish you well and nothing but the BEST, you deserve it.

Your photos are lovely and the road, my goodness it's dreadful what water can do.

Wonderful you have the internet back, it is frustrating when these things don't work correctly or at all.
We just had the carpet layer cut our phone line inside, it's fixed now.

One disaster after another in this world these days. Let's hope things turn around for the better very soon.

Take care,
Margaret
