What fantastic shots of the birds, horse and web. Well done. Thanks for your tips on putting text under photos . I'm getting the hang of it slowly.
Yes, I agree with your comment that you can get to feel one's personality in this medium but its still not the same as hugging a friend.
The "dam" pic didn't come out on my biglog comments but i can see it here on your post. ha ha ha thats funny.
I didn't mean Wivenhoe is nearly 40% full but that the total capacity of all the dams feeding Brisbane is nearly up to 40%.

Thank you for the feedback. Yes, I do agree with you personal touch is important. I was reading Tim's blog and a few others and I do know it does happen on the web and is much publised how people do misrepresent themselves. I believe in using intuition. Also if people do misrepresent themselves go with it as perhaps it is somewhere they would like to be. I do not regularly comment on numbers of blogs but read many and when they disappear into the sunset I do wonder whether touching their lives through this medium makes them feel a little less isolated. You voiced in Tim's blog beautifully on how to enrich his life through volunteer work. I believe should he give visiting a needy person a go he would feel empowered. To many people sounds trite but does enrich ones life to give something back. I am agnostic but do believe in all the religions of the world the theme is "giving is good". Sounds a little simplistic... wise men wrote those books, Bible Koran etc.
Oh dear I sometimes do not make a lot of sense....he he I know what I mean
I think my using the mac transferring photographs does not work so well with bigpond.
Cheers for now and have a lovely weekend....I work long split shifts this weekend and do get a little tired...nothing to do with being a senior!!
