KRISTIE
My friends and I camped away on the weekend and took the horses with us and had the opportunity to see different aspects of the country via horseback.
Rode through deep gloomy forestry with huge sheets of tea coloured water. The reflections on the water was like a dark mirror. Looked like the images of the everglades in Florida USA. Unfortunately did not aquire the point and shoot to carry on the horse and was too tired to take decent photographs of the camp.

How cold were your nights camping Elizabeth?
Camp chair, mug of tea (or something stronger!) - a really nice photo to sum up camping!
I remember the leeches all too well when we camped for a couple of weeks at a time. Bathtime was always a local creek, with fish and black leeches nibbling...
OOOh Cindy...am not that keen on leeches etc. Too cold to bathe in the creek...Hot showers twenty yards away..I really roughed it "not". Was a beautiful sight early in the morning to open my eyes to the stars wheeling about in the heavens. All going well will continue on to northern NSW in October and have a look at the ranges...looking forward to the experience.
Kind Regards,
Elizabeth
