Hi Lizzy, Thanks for checking my blog even though I haven't been around for a while. We had a great holiday and I have added a few more pics and hope to go on with the stry later. You have been making some lovely posts while I was away. Your photos are terrifc..loved the poppies.I may have travelled a little but your horsemanship, your love of horses and your understanding of these beautiful animals is to be admired and envied. What an awful experience the accident must have been. I hope the memory fades in the future.
Gosh dang I wish I were this fearless! I used to quietly freak at rail jumps when I was younger, fitter and slimmer. Everyone used to ask me "Don't you find showjumping/cross country so EXCITING??" I found them quite terrifying, but felt so dorky saying I enjoyed dressage more. I inevitably got the "watching paint dry" comment form non-horsey people.
So I really admire those riders who can do it - such courage! Hats off to you Elizabeth!
