Playing dead
Attempted to shush him off the road this morning...and he ran at me with his mouth open, I fell down screaming, dropped the camera, did not even have the presence of mind to press the shutter..eyeballed me for a sec and then scuttled off....my camera is dirty I am embarrassed and scuffed..although no witnesses except the dragon....I hope he does not tell as am sure could see him laughing...

I can hardly imagine you falling down, screaming, dirty or emarrassed. Just not possible! That's ME you're talking about.
Glad to see you still got the shot in the end. Is he a racehorse lizard? I have a photo of me with one on my shoulder, but I daren't show it as I had short hair and purple sunglasses.
You know I would've paid good money to see a photo of you falling down, screaming, dirty and emabarrassed!
Well, he's an ugly little critter, isn't he. He kind of looks like the Horned Toads we have here. I just don't know which is creepier looking.
Serves you right for trying to scare Lucy with reptile shots. He is quite good looking. You have a few good looking neighbours, I see.
