KANGAROOS IN THE CITY?
A lot of people from overseas think that kangaroos literally bound down the city streets in Australia ...Actually they do, this mob do at least,in Brisbane. My sons work on the new construction into the city and are bush boys and told of the wildlife in the city, Oh right boys this is Mum you are talking to....I travel to the city once a fortnight as look after one of my grandsons for a couple of days and transport him back to the metropolis ....and here are some of the city boys 150 metres away from gridlock.....amazing

They know where the grass is good!
Jeff's course is overrun with wallabies, fat and lazy from easy grazing.
I'm heading into uni next week if you'd still like that item?

We don't get the big kangas up here though we are overrun by wallabies sometimes in town. Especially at East Point where there are way too many for the feed. Great outcry when they have to be culled, but better than facing starvation, or attacks by feral dogs.
Unfortunately crocodiles in swimming pools are much more "newsworthy".
Well you know I have them eating my garden and I live in the city suburbs. I still think they are cute.
Well we don`t see roo`s like that here, not even wallabies...Have been known to get the odd koala though....lol
On flicka was invited to submit this photo to creatures on golf courses....you or Tazar have to photograph a croc on a golf course!!!
I am really happy to see these creatures co-existing and was awoke to the fact firstly by Diane's visitors at Daisy Hill.....
I did see scrub turkeys as well.....

Used to have a lot of koala nightlife around here but the new roadworks and development have depleted some of the corridors. A rare sighting now unfortunately ... glad to know you observe the animals in your city.
