It isn't for the moment you are struck that you need courage, but the long uphill climb back to sanity and security. "

I know how you feel Lizzie...Tragedy is everywhere , on the news, the radios and the papers....I had to turn everything off today because I was feeling so down about it all.....
Mandy,
I feel a deep gloom, nothing of course to what those Victorian fire victims are experiencing , coming to terms to the manner of the deaths, for all Australians is hard let along those directly in the fire storms path and consequence.
It feels as though the whole world is out of control. Children burnt in the fire storm in the south of the continent, and in the far north a child eaten by crocodiles lurking out of the floodwater, fearsome beasts......the horror of it all. The human tragedy is shocking enough and is unimaginable and I also think of the millions of creatures that fly in the air live in the logs graze in the forests.
i think every aussie feels the gloom, it's so huge how can we not. i also turn off now, it's too much. Fran
Nice gee gee Lizzie, well looked after and happy. Nice to see a happy blog even though there is still a lot of unhappiness in NQ and in Vic.
Hi Elizabeth,
He is indeed a fancy hoss - what a beautifully glossy coat.
Seeing those poor horses down in Victoria, muzzles all burnt, really makes me feel so sad. BUT, there are so many down there who are giving freely of time, money and love to nurse them back to health.
I see that Karumba only has 3 days of drinking water left? There's always beer I suppose....
Beautiful horse and beautiful pics.
We need something to cheer us at the moment. Thank you.
