Magic pictures Lizzy. How is your neighbour and you after the shock of finding him?
When you make the pics bigger you need to make your blog template wider. Go into layout and click HTML button. Go into the template and change the width of the wrapper and body. That should get the side bar out of the pictures.

He is quite mangled and still suffering from amnesia and the police are of the opinion NOW that the injuries are consistent with those of an assault...I said all along they were not horse related injuries...
Although I saw a recently fallen tree on the path he would have taken and one of the branches has a red substance which is going to be analyzed whether or not it is sap or blood....His right wrist is broken consistent with fending off a blow or perhaps the falling tree, and has bruising in isolated patches over his back and legs...I find it difficult to work out the randomness of the injuries..

Diane I have tried and tried ...I can get it wider and and then can not get rid of an old template with lots of pink swirley flowers on the sides...an I am over the pink bits...lol..
I think somewhere it just reverts back to the old template but does make it wider but is so distracting with all the pink swirley bits that I thought was so cool but is just messy :).....I have another blog that I have not been using and it is nice and wide now thanks to you advice...I do not know what to do about this one for the moment...
Sounds like the tree may be the culprit. You should be a detective.
Bummer about the old template showing through There must be somewhere in the maze of HTML to fix i. I'm not very good with HTML just the simple stuff.

Yes it was a widget originally and I think is in a place cache...and everytime I change this I get the old template. with the wider format but with all the pinkness enroaching all over the photos....With the other blog I had intended setting it up as a photographic blog and it works well...well ok I still need to figure out a little more...
I have been on to a help forum reading and see where others have experienced the same problem and could not find a solution there....
Will try again another day when I may have some fresh thought on the matter...Thanks Diane
