Hi Elizabeth,

Wow, that sure is beautiful scenery. If that doesn't clear your head nothing will.

Cheers

Rudy,
Beautiful areas around here...the mountains but this is the best run of the creek in years and years...Valley of Diamonds the area is called. I said ten minutes from the town that is ten minutes drive. I am getting fit as hiked around six ks this morning and the water is so beautiful and noisy. Kind regards, Elizabeth

Mandy,
I will post more of the beauty spots around here later...I did a lot of walking and riding in the area which is not a touristy area but does have scenery comparable with a lot of famous spots. The variety is very diverse. I do not usually hire a lot of DVD's ...could not find a suitable book ..last night watched Wolf Creek and then hiked around a National Park on my own the next day....ha ha cheers Elizabeth

you are so lucky to have that swimming hole in your extended 'backyard'. It is absolutely beautiful. I hope it never does become too touristy for you all there.

lil harry,
I do not see the benefit of spending glitzy dollars for tourists as these Australian attractions should stand alone...the camping facilities do me..Regards, Elizabeth
