Looks a lot like Perth.
Are they Jacarandas I spy in the distance? And maybe a HUGE bougainvillea? On the weekend I spied my first jacaranda here in Cairns. I do miss those long cool tunnels of lilac above, and the carpet that would "pop" as you walked over the fallen flowers.
Heliconias are about to burst from long stems any minute now...
There is a lot of construction going on in Brisbane. Tunnels and busways....not before time. The traffic is a nightmare. Hopefully it will keep people employed and ease our traffic problems.
