Hi Elizabeth,I'm back AND almost feeling like a normal person again!I'm trying to catch up on all the posts, tough job, especially with all the amazing images.I used to love the "pop" sound you got driving over jacaranda flowers, like little purple paper bags bursting. How did you fare with the storms? Hopefully all is ok??CheersCindy
Mmmmmmm....so pretty.
Cindy,I have missed your unique insight.....We did not get the wild storms here just the tail edge of the rains....Do you go to university next year ... or are you concentrating on full time artist and of course mother best friend and wife....
Lucy,The blossoms are a fantasy land...such a pretty shade of lavender and an introduced tree of course from the Americas, I think they grow as far north as Mexico but largely found in South America.Kind regards,Elizabeth
No more uni for me - the only Visual Arts degree available is too much performance based -eg stage lighting etc. I wouldn't have my heart in it.No, full time artist (read straving and poor!) is the life for me!"Pop" some of those pretty blossoms for me? I miss them.
Beautiful picture. I just love the colour of Jacaranda. I had to cut two out of my garden during the drought.
