What a great shot with the seagull coming in to land. I may be biased but Brisbane is a great town. My youngest daughter, visiting from Sydney, remarked the other day that people in Brisbane should stop calling it a town as there are way too many people living here these days. Yes, I said, half of Melbourne.

It is lovely walking along the river edge, sailing along the river and just sitting looking at the river. Terrific shot of the gull

Great contrast in that photo, and a beautiful French Blue sky to boot.

I must get down to Brissy one day - have only ever driven through on the way to an airport.

I enjoy seagulls...I like the river but find the noise distracting...I hear a constant roar of the traffic as am used to silence. The southbank is a beautiful spot and have only been there a couple of times and have not been in the city for years...driven through and of course the racetracks but not explored.

Diane & Bill know all the good spots.....I particularly enjoyed your boat trip.

I took my Grandson back to Brisbane last Tuesday and was hopelessly bushed...knew the direction of son no 2's new house but kept running into dead end roads and duh had 2005 street directory and how things have changed. Retraced my steps and started again from the freeway.....

I am a serial digresser.......the above has nothing to do with the subject...

Great as always to receive a visit from you all.....
