HEY HEY HEY WHATA BOUT ME

I know some could easily get sick of these equine images.... but went to the city today, taking the delightful child, my grandson Joe, oh yes he thinks it is wonderful to pee in the grass on the road and now without fail we have to have a pit stop and am sure he is watching until no convenient service stations and "quick, quick gama I gotta do a wee"...That is OK except is a freeway...I smile to myself as negotiate off a suitable quiet off road find a spot where "No one might see" he does a very satisfactory arc into the grass and then gama negotiating back in to the wizzing traffic. I look at his face and get a huge kick out of the satisfaction and smug look all over his little face, of having the power to stop traffic so as to speak...little kids need a win now and then....thinks grandma. Arrived back home after negotiating road works, traffic snarls, wrong turns, and busy busy people to this "wher've you been, not at work we know...." I am lucky lucky

Oh how can you possibly leave those faces behind? They are just too beautiful.

I hate driving. I hate driving in the torrential rain more. I hate driving behind a tourist who sits 40km under the speed limit. I just hate driving.

If I lived with your horses, I would just b r e a t h e in their sweet hay smell all day. I really miss it. I used to love the velvety softness of their muzzle - there is nothing so soft in all the world.

Yes you are lucky, and a patient kind gammie as well!

Boys will be boys. When I was teaching I had to investigate an incident in the boys toilet. The rumpus was because a boy had achieved the impossible he managed to pee up high enough to get the stream out of the narrow window high above the urinal. What a lovely scene to come home to after the hustle and bustle of town.

I never get tired of your photos. The little ones always seem to manage to put smiles on our faces.

Cindy, these animals are a delight and know me so well...I do enjoy driving but not to the city particularly I like a destination far far away.

and you are right these animals smell sweet not the same smell as an innocent child but an innocent smell......

Diane, little boys do live in a magical world of their own....Joe loves the horses and I always download a horse movie/ animation on his visits which I get to watch as well....we were watching an unlikely story told by a horse and throughout Joe says aaaw poor him pooor him.

Diane you would have many stories to tell of little children and their antics.

Lucy you are so right and only having had brothers, sons, and mainly grandsons, one lone granddaughter, I am used to the boy antics...

Margaret,
After a visit from Joe whom I care for two days every fortnight I walk about with a smile on my face.
Thank you for the kind comment regarding the photos I try to maintain a balance, not all equine!

Oh dear how I am laughing at Dianes comment about the boy`s toilet...I tell you it must be a boy thing because my husband told me of a very similar story when he was younger...Always a competition to see who can pee the furtherest and the highest....lol
Kids can be such a joy to be around, some of the innocent things they do or say stays with us for a life time....

I love the photos of the horses they are so great. Now when it comes to little boys liking to pee in the grass my grandson Blain has just started to do that he will sometimes wait till someone is the the toilet and say I have to wee and I can't wait so he goes out the back and does it on the grass.
