Fairly urban this mob...in the hills to the right lies the major inland city of Toowoomba high above the coast.
I had a job to do early this morning and returning home just before turning into my driveway. I live a fortunate life.
My mother's Uncle Harold was lost in the first World War and his remains never recovered. We have recently discovered what became of him and his name is inscribed on a bridge where the locals daily play the soldiers song on the bugle. He was called to war via a white feather in the post.

The limbs come crashing down so have to be careful whilst photographing. Have discovered that the parrots are eating the lavae of a grub in the trees so doing their bit for the balance of nature. Unfortunately are only a once yearly visitors
No cats allowed anywhere near I live. This cat lives at an older people's home and is loved by over 100 residents. She is very superior.
This dam is a major supplier of water to the city of Brisbane and is well below 50%. Rain has been falling north and south of the catchment...Here's hoping for significent falls in this catchment area.
